Project Overview
This Kenaidan-led design-build project will provide modifications and accessibility upgrades to the existing Eglinton GO Station.
For this contract, our work includes installing accessible mini-platforms and canopies, two pedestrian-accessible ramps, and four elevators with stairwell and elevator shaft enclosures connecting to the pedestrian tunnels. At track level, the upgrades involve installing a tactile walking surface indicator and widening the platforms.
Improvements will be made to the site wayfinding and passenger pickup and drop-off areas for enhanced traffic flow. Additional work includes site stormwater, domestic cold water, sanitary services, and installing a new electrical transformer.
At the east side of the facility, a public plaza will link the station entrance and platforms.
