Atlantic Packaging Products Ltd., a leading Canadian manufacturer of containerboard and corrugated packaging products, contracted Kenaidan to construct various concrete packages and one mechanical plumbing package.

The concrete packages provided concrete foundations and structures to accommodate additional equipment to double production and an 18 m tall structural steel building under a future contract at their Whitby facility.

Work included subbase preparation, formwork and concrete pouring of pile caps, building foundations, grade beams, piers and walls, machine track piers, columns, beams, and slabs.

The plumbing package included the supply and installation of plumbing for several bathroom groups, process drain piping for large owner-supplied equipment, and all roof drains for the new addition installed using 60-80 foot telescoping man lifts due to the height of the building.
