Project Overview
The Mississauga Hospital (M-Site), part of Trillium Health Partners (THP), is one of the busiest hospitals in the country. THP announced a significant expansion, including replacing its parking structure with a new one in a different location.
Kenaidan is the Construction Manager for the parking garage (phase 1), overseeing the pre-construction and construction processes. During pre-construction, we support the design team as they advance the design and the THP team with the budgeting and scheduling of the project.
A cast-in-place foundation will support the 8-level precast garage. Construction includes structural considerations for a pedestrian bridge, future expansion, and an underground loading dock connection.
We will rework roads and curbs, relocate fibre optic lines, and install underground services. Electrical and mechanical work involves four elevators, multifaceted installations on parking level 1 and two hub electrical and communication rooms.
