Kenaidan Centre for Learning (KCFL)
To ensure that our employees have the skills required to excel in their careers, our organization created the Kenaidan Centre for Learning (KCFL). The Centre features training and development programs designed to support our employees in both their current and future roles within the company. Just the shear number of employees who have progressed into leadership roles demonstrates our program’s success.
Kenaidan Strong Wellness Program
Kenaidan Strong embodies our commitment to our team’s wellness, encouraging development through annual initiatives, teambuilding events, corporate benefits, training, and communication. These efforts cultivate our team’s well-being under the program’s five pillars of wellness: physical, mental, social, community, and financial.
Community Events
We organize events to support our community that leverage the skills and talents of the people who work at Kenaidan. Past events include tree planting, building ramps to make local businesses wheelchair accessible, volunteering at food banks, and community walks/runs.
CETA Builds
These community projects involve renovations to homes or facilities to support children with physical challenges. Kenaidan and our sub-trades and suppliers contribute their time and materials to complete the job.
Charitable Matching
Kenaidan supports a multitude of charities when we can. We also encourage staff to donate time and money to charities in our community. To show our support we match employee contributions of either volunteer time or money to registered Canadian charities up to an annual maximum.
Work-Life Balance
Through our Disconnecting from Work Policy, Kenaidan offers flexible work arrangements that vary across the company. This includes working from home and summer hours in an effort to promote a healthy work-life balance for all employees.
