Project Overview

Kenaidan built this 120 ML/D water treatment plant, including ancillary facilities, a 7.5 ML reinforced concrete clearwell, valve/chamber, and pump station.

The water is treated through raw water screening, coagulation/flocculation, a two-stage GE siphon membrane, and chemical feed systems.

The design uses the hydraulic pressure in the water supply from the South Fork Dam to siphon water through the submerged membrane filtration treatment process. It eliminates mechanical pumping, significantly reducing energy consumption, building footprint and maintenance, and operating costs.

Our work included site civil, roadwork, interconnecting pipelines, yard piping, structural, architectural, landscaping, process mechanical, building mechanical, and electrical instrumentation and controls for all plant-related facilities.

Awarded Honorable Mention in 2016 Commercial Building Awards under Institutional Category.
